Desireability universally gone
Its year 77 or so. I just reset the population control to infinity and my population is now 2011. Starting a few years ago, huge numbers of building were in need of repair. And I am dutifully repairing everything I find. At the beginning of the previous turn I received the message that 108 building were condemned. I again dutifully cycled through all 108 buildings, of which over half were fences. What a hassle. Is there any way to fix more than one building at a time? At the beginning of the current turn, every building that uses desirability everywhere on the map is now displaying the message that I need to improve desirability or it will be abandon. Hundreds of them. Clicking on any individual building shows what would be considered a normal desirability number for that building. There are Mansions with 108% desirability with the warning icon displayed. BTW - graphics are still nice and smooth on x1 and x2. A bit stuttery on x3.

Continuing... I played a couple more years. The population grew to about 2070. As my builders went around repairing things, I saw a lot of the desirability warning icons disappear. I had over 160 builders running around trying to repair the many, many building in need or repair. I did notice that just about every one of the gardens, parks and statues needed repair. I guess this is what caused all the desirability to drop and why all the building were going to be abandon. This last turn, I got the message that 102 buildings were abandon. I see there is no way to rehabilitate them once they have been abandon. I now have massive slums and a huge housing shortage. It looks like to correct this, I would need to dismantle all the abandon buildings and then rebuild them on the same spot. This game over. BTW - I was playing passive mode with no baddies. (P.S. I have over 10 yrs experience in IT QA - retired)
