Healers house
Unless I'm not understanding it, I believe the game is telling me it's costing me 25 gold per month to have the healer. does anybody else think that's too much upkeep?

agree, especialy at first tier and how importance it is,so to avoid this usualy i upgrade my market before my town reach tier 3 using all things i can trade for brick, the easy way is to product honey and sell it to Scorv.

It's fine. You don't need to have the radius cover every house.

Agreed, even if you find a gold mine it barely covers the cost. IMO this needs some re-balancing by the devs.

I build a cemetery in year 1 so I don't have to worry about the healers hut early on. :steamhappy:

You dont really need healer's house at early game, even on hardest difficulty, as there are next to none diseases early on and the few sickness can be treated by simple herbs.
By the time you want to get healers, you should have pretty much 2 markets worth of houses and most of them being upgraded to T2 already, at which point 25 gold is no problem at all

p.s.
You always need more houses than your pop can fill, as a house with a single person in it still pays the same as a house full of people.

At tier 2 you dont need it's desirablity, it helps to push for the 65 limit for T3, at which point (150+ ppl) 25 gold is not a problem.
Early on, you need to cover the desirabilty with decors, wells, school, altar and pole, out of which only the altar cost you 4 gold upkeep, the rest are free.
