UI Scaling and Icon size
I would like to request the above please. I have old eyes and can barely make out the UI information, tutorial text, icons for resources etc, and playing in a lower resolution like 800x600 so I could read anything probably isn't even possible.

Cheers.

Eh the only thing I found in the forums was an upscaling UI that didn't have any responses, and isn't exactly an issue with development of the feature in an early access game.....

Nice to know this POS decides to be abusive and actively looking to hinder assistance by requesting others without posting a link to an actual conversation that may be hidden in a post with a title suggesting other issues. But, again, Old eyes.

Disgusting. Steer clear of forums buddy.

UI scaling is in the Interface section of the Settings menu

Thank you thanosi, for some reason the slider bar at the top of that menu had not shown up prior to me actually launching in to a game, and only appeared when I accessed from in in a map... weird, but fixed.

It doesn't alter icon sizes though, still just a grey green and red blur.

Tooltip size also is not impacted in the menu.

I wonder if adjusting your default windows scaling may have a positive outcome.
There maybe a little trial and error to get the desired result. Adjust windows scaling, check in game and maybe adjust in game as well to achieve your desired result.

In game, using the statistics (upper left corner) and the inventory list (bottom middle-right next to the populace and compass that takes you to your town) combined with the larger UI scaling (I use 1.5) might be enough to be playable for you. The icons when mousing over the food are still extremely small, but the inventory screen is much bigger. It is not much of a workaround, and not a game feature but if you are really committed, you can use the camera on your phone and zoom feature?

Hmm, I regularly need to pump scaling up in games as I play on a TV and I've had it at 1.35 for a good while without issue. Like mauvbot said disabling Windows scaling (setting to 100%) may help.

Yeah It's the first thing I look for when I log in to a game because my eyes really are terrible. Currently at 1.6 so it's not completely oversized and only a little discomfort.

When I first logged in to the game the UI scaling slider was completely blank, an empty bar that looked like a divide between the title and options. After looking at the interface option again when in the map, it was partially red with with 1.0 and UI Scaling text.

Thanks for letting me know it actually was there. I logged in to the map itself before opening before looking again, then checked in the main menu after leaving the game that it had remained.

No worries. Sadly it's not the greatest UI in the world so scaling really helps in some places and not others.

I have an 42inch LGC2, play at 4k resolution and sit 80cm/31.5 inches away from the screen.

Windows recommends 300% scaling, but I found that 125% works best for me. For yourself test and adjust to suit.
