Report a translation problem
The people in your barracks are soldiers. Your archers can stay inside and shoot and they can even go outside and fight without running back to the barracks (guards will do that, you have to micro them to fight). Archers don't use swords but they have more arrows than guards, so they stay at a distance at all times and shoot arrows (well they should but that's not what happens...............). Basically, guards stay in the tower at that specific location at all times while soldiers (and archers) can fight anywhere and are easier to micro/handle.
