chickens and horses have their own new barns. chickens in food and horses in resources.

Build the barns, then you'll be allowed to purchase the chickens, horses or goats and place them into them. Pretty much what you do with cows.

I don't think tier 1 traders sell them. Haven't seen them anyway - probably need to upgrade to tier 2.

they do, at least chickens and goats, cant recall if i saw any horses at tier 1 or not, but i know the livestock animals will show up, but its nowhere near as often as they do at tier 2. At tier 1 you might see 1 merchant that has 1 type of livestock every 3-4 years or so. Think about it, the livestock barns/coops are all tier 2 structures, and you have to be tier 3 to upgrade the trade post.

All the animals are available with a t1 trade post. Not as often as with a t2 but often enough.
