I believe all harvestable plants should be able to be relocated, even if they added in a percentage of failure rates as per RL transplanting.
But, just having to have one forager to pick all that cabbage, nuts and willow and stuff is worth the effort of moving all those plants. What got me about this little experiment was how many mines I had to have to keep up with the tool usage. And coal for other buildings.
As far as food goes, it's much easier to just use farms, cattle ranches and arborists.
And, in the end, I started running low on hides. LOL These guys go through a lot of those winter coats. I'm not sure how much of that was also keeping up with the book makers and the cobblers, I needed a lot of those to support a 900 population.
It was an "experiment" so to speak in what would it take to make all the stuff and what all that would entail with OUT using the vendor to buy anything. Normally, I make beer for the folks, but I don't normally make books. Books are as yet not needed for the last level and making all that flax is a pain.
I just wanted to see what it would take to do that is all. Also, I would never make that many tanneries when you can buy coats cheap from the vendor. Or that many cobblers.
