Just for grins
We all know that you can't support higher populations without extensive use of the trader. However, if you could, what would it take? So I loaded up a bunch of mods so I could place mineral deposits where I wanted them, and move all harvestable food items like you can blueberries. What I found to support a 912 population count with OUT using the trader for anything is the following. All buildings are upgraded and fully staffed. Also, I did this on pacifist mode, so supporting an Army will take a lot more than this.

4 Tanneries
5 Firewood choppers
3 Sawmills
2 soap makers
1 Fletcher
4 basket weavers
4 cobblers
3 barrel makers
2 furniture makers
1 Candle makers, 1 Weaver, 1 pottery maker
2 glass makers
2 brick makers
2 smelters, 2 toolmakers
3 paper makers, 3 book makers
1 brewery
2 cheesemakers, 2 preservists
4 cattle ranches, 7 hunters, (no water map, so so fish), 8 smokers
6 10x10 farms, 2 12x12 farms, 4 10x10 plots of berries (no arborist used)
1 10x10 plot of greens, 1 5x5 plot of nuts. 4 willow plants, 5 plants each of herbs and medicinal roots
2 clay mines, 3 sand mines, 5 iron mines, 5 coal mines, 2 gold mines

I do love your mods :D
I believe all harvestable plants should be able to be relocated, even if they added in a percentage of failure rates as per RL transplanting.

After having done it, I can tell you it's a heck of a lot easier to just make some arborist buildings and use the tree root thingie in your temple. LOL

But, just having to have one forager to pick all that cabbage, nuts and willow and stuff is worth the effort of moving all those plants. What got me about this little experiment was how many mines I had to have to keep up with the tool usage. And coal for other buildings.

As far as food goes, it's much easier to just use farms, cattle ranches and arborists.

And, in the end, I started running low on hides. LOL These guys go through a lot of those winter coats. I'm not sure how much of that was also keeping up with the book makers and the cobblers, I needed a lot of those to support a 900 population.

What do you need the brewery for? I never build one due to people becoming drunk all the time. If you aren't selling beer it's maybe something you could get rid off.

It was an "experiment" so to speak in what would it take to make all the stuff and what all that would entail with OUT using the vendor to buy anything. Normally, I make beer for the folks, but I don't normally make books. Books are as yet not needed for the last level and making all that flax is a pain.

I just wanted to see what it would take to do that is all. Also, I would never make that many tanneries when you can buy coats cheap from the vendor. Or that many cobblers.
