Soldiers getting drunk
Is there a way to stop my drunk soldiers from attacking villigers and their homes. For what ever reason my soldier was drunk. Fair enough... prob bored in the Fort.
The drunk soldier has killed like 10 of my labourers and cant be stopped as he has Heavy weapons and armour. How can i stop him..... i dont want to diable all the other soldiers in the Fort as it is very expensive to replace them. Is there a way to just disable this one soldier or not
or any other way to help.
Look forwad to your ideas.

Grab hold of him and send him out to the nearest wolf/boar den and they may deal with him for you.

You mean something like this. LOL

Yeah I pretty much sent him to the Wolf Den to get rid of him.

This is pretty much the reason I don't have any pubs, unless I absolutely have to. I will make the beer and then sell it at the Trade Post

If this is a bug, it's annoying. If it's not, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic. Soldier has too much to drink and can't separate between reality and his shell shock PTSD, so he goes on a murderous rampage through the village, just like back when he was ordered to do so... This game goes hard. Makes you wonder about Simulationist stuff.

As said, it's not a bug. There's even a tooltip while the game's loading that'll tell you your villagers can become belligerent and start fights when they're drunk.

Same.

Its worst when they're decked out in all the most expensive crafted gears and basically you've lost all the good gears and a bunch of other villagers.

There should be a difference between fighting and killing. Or make it so the soldier is not allowed to carry weapons into the pub at all. The villager should get knocked out maybe and need the healer after the encounter.

You do realize out on the frontier killing was met with a noose around the neck near a big tree.

They should introduce some sort of local authority like being able to recruit a bailiff that can keep order, the penalty being you would lose the offender for a period when they're locked up.

I would like it if they made it so you can manually select a solider and boot him out the Fort.
instead of potentially losing them all... and all the weapons and all the gold it takes to train them up agian

It would be good to have a marshal or bailiff for these kinds of situations. Could help out and become involved with captured invaders. Put them in prison and rehabilitate them to join your village.
Oh...use them as slave labour. Make the belligerent people work in the pit for x number of years based on their poor behaviour.

I don't think you have to send the solider on a suicide mission to a wolf den. I have just sent them on a long walk out towards the edge of the map. By the time they walk back, they've sobered up.

Villagers getting drunk and doing some damage to each other yes, a soldier cutting ten people down is a bug I would say maybe.
