Game crashes v0.8.2

Well since this is not happening for 99% of the players and I myself have played
hundreds of hours without a crash this points to it being your setup.

as always do the main checks these are the main ones

Update Graphic driver
Verify game files
do not overclock (at least too much)
Make sure your temps are good to go
do a ram test
set virtual ram to automatic

if still problems post your crash logs at least then
when can determine if the crashing is in FF or driver or
unity or system and get an idea what type of crashing
is occurring.

There is no reason to do any checks you mentioned. I play on same PC with same stuff as before. The only change is v0.8.2, that's it. Temps are fine, I've got AIO on CPU, GPU also temp below 60degC. I can play any other game tons of hours, and there is no crash. Only on FF v0.8.2. Drivers also updated. Can't wait for next update to check.

Of course there is reason because it is your PC/files not the game. Do you really think if
thousands of people run a game fine but 1 person crashes it is the game and not that persons PC/local set up?

something is wrong on your side. it could be as simple as 1 byte is corrupted
in a game file.

As Groovy said, i havent experienced a crash in all of my game time, and i got a 4 year old laptop.

First steps are always to verify game files and make sure drivers are updated.

If the issue persists after that, it is probably generating a Crash Log. These can be found in:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp

This folder may be set to hidden by default in your folder options, so make sure to enable hidden items. Inside this directory, you will find a folder called Crash_Date_Bunch of Numbers (ex. Crash_2022-08-02_171459771.

I am having the same problem. I have played for nearly 300 hours and never had it crash this much. Each update has caused minimal crashing but nothing like this. No errors, just right out of the game. It's frustrating that I cannot play now. We have tried everything. It was fine until the latest update. I love this game and want to continue to play.

So I am not the only one. Ok, I will zip all crash files and send them to provided email.

all i can say is note your system specs and stuff so the devs can do something with it also driver versions are important.

Yeah same here. You are not alone. After 10-20 min in game the game crashed and PC will do a restart. I have this problem since last update. Before this Update the game is running really well.

im the same as tommy crash after 20 minuets did not happen before update and all my other games working 100 percent

because you not get anny crashes it doesn not mean noboty get game crashed buddy. As you see, it's not only me. And probably many people don't know how to report it (for example they are not here with us.

He didn't say you do not crash he said it is not the game that is causing it.
Just as I said above and many times elsewhere.

Now look at the poster just after you. That is what the problem is. IN his case
either a bad card or because new card better driver.

If you are crashing and I am not then it is your PC. Why because it is the
same game code on both boxes. Thus something on the crashing PC is causing
it to crash.

I ask every time to post the crash logs so I can tell everyone what is the problem but they rarely do. Post your log I will tell you what the problem is

BTW if a crash to blue screen or crash restart that is 100% not the game.
That is a low level error.
