Please remove drunken fights
Just had a solider in plate armor and sword/shield and get drunk, then he decided to murder 55 people and destroyed like 10 buildings.....

I get the fisticuffs when people get drunk outside the bar, they need a day to heal and get back to life, but a solider that no one can stop is a little much. Maybe edit the code so that the soldier can still fight when wasted but no weapons allowed or something.

I am not joking, my city is in ruin now lol

I just had this happen to me, the dude destroyed the pub and murdered 20+ people. I don't know what else he would have done I had to go back to a previous auto-save.
I get it's "funny" to have drunken fights outside the pub but I think it should be rare and damage their health slightly only. But these soldiers on full upgraded armour and weapons plus the temple buffs are worse than 20 raids at once.

And where is this option to send them to the barracks? Selecting the solider does not give me any power over them and setting the barracks flag-point does not work either.

You can remove drunken fights though it is not what the devs intended I think.

I build a pub right next to the market and disable the building. You gain the benefit of desirability bonus still. I build a brewery and sell the beer. I provide everything else and they seem happier without it. If they can't handle the beer, they get none.

Beer is not required for a perfectly functioning town. As you are selling the beer you do not lose out on the revenue. Saves a worker or 2 as well which to me is more valuable.

Oh you can disable it and get he desirability bonus? That's good news. It will have to do for now until they re-think this. You are right, can't handle the beer? No beer.

The bar fights are the least of alcohoism problems, the "drunken" state will cost you 10000s in productivity. I haven't build a single pub in 8 months, so maybe it got better?

Sell off the honey and forget about it, it so not worth it. The income from the pub is what you loose from drunken state at best.

Pubs are a great way to generate extra gold for your city get around 80-100 gold per pub and have tons of miners that are not that happy spending all time in a mine shaft so they go drinkin :)
I have one pub, 500 population, 20+ villagers dead from brawl, lost my theatre and a few houses, 5 manor abbandoned because of it, it happen during bandit invasion it sucks.

I can tolerate drunken people fighting, but I can't stand a massacre caused by drunken hunters or soldiers that no one can "stop".

We need our soldier or police to auto deal with it, that drunk soldier kills more than the raider last time, reloading and disabling all pub solved it. Wish we have police and jails too for any crime like thiefs, :)

Off duty soldiers shouldn't be equipped with weapons and armor, and their gear should be stored in the barracks while they're off duty imo.

I concur with this statement. So much so that I do not build pubs at all in any of my games. My beer industry is entirely for generating gold income from traders.
