Furthest Frontier, more like?
Why did the devs call this game Farthest Frontier? Wouldn't it be more grammatically correct to call it Furthest Frontier? Also, grammatically correct or no, Farthest Frontier just sounds stupid and wrong to me, in general. They should have gone with Furthest Frontier.

You can go far, farther, or farthest. You can never go fur, further, furthest.

No. Both are perfectly acceptable. And I would argue it sounds better than 'Furthest Frontier'.

So is this purfectly acceptible.

You're an idiot...

There isn't just one version of English after all.

So, would you ask 'What's the furthest you can see with those binoculars?' or 'What's the farthest you can see with those binoculars?'?
Sorry. Furthest just doesn't sound right.

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/farther-farthest-or-further-furthest Welcome to the utter chaos of the English language.

As far as furthest goes; it's six one way, half a dozen the other and comes down to preference and familiarity. As an American who grew up in and lived most of my life in New England, "farthest frontier" sounds better to me than "furthest frontier" (we love our As). Someone from another part of the country or from another primarily English-speaking country would probably disagree, but both are grammatically correct (or about as grammatically correct as a language without a central linguistic/orthography institution can get; there is no Académie Française or Gesellschaft für deutsche Sprache for English--we have only English teachers).

Are you for real, right now? furthest, of course. farthest just sounds stupid and completely wrong.
This whole thread is unreal. You're all just being weird about one letter in the word. The dev team are mostly based in New England, US of A so deal with it. Farthest it is, end of story.
