how do i delete a graveyard?
town has grown, need to move it further out to make space

I could be wrong but from what I've gathered through Google / official forums, graveyards are permanent - cannot be moved or deleted.

I've not tried it myself yet but apparently you can build a new one on top of an old one to refresh it?

Nope, not possible to delete a graveyard.
Devs are planning to add a way to move them, but it's not in the game yet.

Which is why I let the dead pile up in the streets. They disappear eventually anyway.

That's what I pay rat catchers for. Last I checked they catch several hundred a year, I guess that's why.
As for diseases, doesn't really seem to be a major issue, except the one time I got like 10-20 people on some plague/influenza outbreak, but my 2 hospitals quarantined them and no long term issues. I don't think you can actually tweak that right? I'm on pacifist but I don't think that affects it.

But like seriously, 6-700 pop now and afaict the only downsides of leaving them in the streets is the lag I get when I scroll over the residential area, but I figure that's because I keep the warning icons up, which seems kinda pointless atm since I deal with issues through the Profession tab anyway compared to when I manually clicked on each factory.
Well, unless a building shows a rat infestation icon I don't think the catchers will do anything about rats devouring your corpses. I've never noticed that they do anyway.

Oh. I never thought of that. I just assumed the people get sick of it eventually and dispose of the bodies themselves.
Too bad I can't turn rats into compost.

really? how the hell do they add graveyards to the game without a way to remove them?!?!?

i would rather not even have them in the game! just give me a funeral pyre instead! and make them removable!

I just make a small one to start with, kind of a memorial to the starting members. It lasts well into the game. If I need a bigger one later on then I'll worry about it.

Well, according to the wiki, apparently a max size 10x10 can store 400 people, or around 4 to a square.
I wonder if I should find some nice out of the place area to start storing my dead, since logistic issues means expanding there is a pain anyway.
But as I mentioned earlier, just leaving them to rot, which apparently takes years, just doesn't seem to be a big issue.
