Shelter Stocking frustrations

So one of the things I'm running into is shelters not upgrading to homesteads because they lack the two different types of foods requirement. I try to keep the minimum recommended number of laborers (number doesn't turn orange indicating too few) available to do shelter stocking to keep up, but I've noticed two things:

1. Having more than the minimum necessary doesn't tend to result in better shelter stocking, just more laborers standing around idle doing nothing, even where they are significant stocking needs.

2. Everything else can be well stocked, the two food requirement just isn't met. This can result in a maddening situation where I'm trying to upgrade to town center tier 3, and I've done everything I can do, I'm just stuck waiting for the last shelter or two to get stocked with a second food type.

Anyone have any tips on this or is this just one of those things they'll need to improve AI pathing etc. as they go?

And as usual, your half baked know it all answers are wrong. Try to actually get you facts straight before you claim other people don't know what they're talking about. When I can look at my game in 30 seconds and disprove your assertions, it gets pretty laughable.

Keep telling yourself that. I just went to my game and watched the grocer for two months of game time. Grocer the entire time says stocking market. Watch him go to a root cellar and grab food, then take it back to the market, then watch him endlessly take water from the nearest well to market. Never goes near a house.

Next I focus on a laborer whose task is shelter stocking. This laborer goes to root cellar, grabs 22 meat, takes it to a house and drops most of it off.

Doesn't matter. You didn't bother to ask for that info up front before you started making snide comments and talking down your nose. I'm playing the game, the one you seem to think you know everything about but don't.

The point is not which version of the game I'm playing, but your attitude.

Funny, I would have said it was your attitude that started things off. But you do you of course.

It does matter which version you're playing because what you complain about has been fixed in the latest version of the game - v0.8.0. So if you're not playing that version then that's your problem.

As said, I've never claimed to be an expert on the game, though you give the impression you think you are since only your opinion is valid and whenever anyone contradicts you you start trying to talk down to them.

IF you're playing the latest version of the game and getting these problems then save the game, upload it to something like google drive, get a share link and then make a bug report about the problems on the official forum including the share link so the devs can have a look at your save and decide whether it's working at intended or needs fixing.

Yeah you should definitely feel free to not comment on any of my threads or posts going forward as all of this nonsense you've just posted is nothing but projection. I'm playing the latest version of the game as I make it a habit to keep my games updated. My attitude is determined by the way in which others respond to my posts, and you've been nothing but a snide condesceding ass from the start, so quit trying to play it's your fault, not mine. And given that you comment on most of my threads, don't give me that you started it ♥♥♥♥, that's garbage.

It's funny how people with ♥♥♥♥ attitudes always think it's everyone's else's attitude that's the problem, especially after they get called out on it.
