I would hope the devs recognize this and have plans to mitigate the endgame of tombstoned out. My preference would be for an additional Tier, maybe around 600 population and maybe even with a certain number of graves required to prevent rushing to pop to the Tier. At this level add a crematorium that used firewood or coal and can handle a set number of bodies per month depending on the level it is at.
I am at just under 800 population and it seems I am stuck there. I dont believe immigration scales in line with deaths from ever larger raiding parties and disease nor do births with increased population. I have over 1K available for housing, food is always available yet population just quit growing.
We hear you on this one.
Some method of moving the graveyards would be nice. We’d like to come up with some kind of cost to doing so however as that should be a choice not made lightly. Perhaps a gold fee may suffice to pay off the local necromancers not to raid their supply.
Expect more on this in the future."

Population is capped at 1k atm to help with performance. Crate expect to remove it nearer to full release of the game.
I have considered paying the ransom raiders to see if avoiding that inevitable bump in deaths will help that pop nudge closer to the 1K mark.
Cuz if the game wants us to use grave for every body that is buried, land space eventually runs out. So the game technically has a hard cap for land space that will be either be filled with Graves or corpse and rats.
While this may seem like a Noob post at first glance about graveyard complaints, the rest of the discussion about Graveyard is somewhat relevant.
As I pointed out, (without exploiting the overlapping graveyard), you can run out of space eventually over time if you play the game long enough. High population count means more dead bodies to bury.
Why would it be a 'noob post'? I've built my graves far out of the own... there are other problems actually in that case; with enough time, I could have almost filled up the max size grave I've started to build outside of town (at map edge) WITH THE CORPSES OF PEOPLE TRYING TO BUILD IT!
It's like a 500 year town problem, yes but since graves are ultimately uninterractible currently and with higher population, the process only quickens, the map will quite quickly be filled either with unburried corpses or graveyards.
Putting this kind of hard-blocks on games will always make people feel bad about it in some way, even if it never truly affects their gameplay significantly, the potential is there.
(The same goes for all kind of hard-blocks for progression, but that's another topic - yes, i'm thinking about forced trade for heavy tools.)
Agreed!
