Schools need an educated person to teach?
Apparently you can't make use of a school without an educated person, but how do you get an educated person when everyone you start off with is uneducated, lol.

Is there a way in game to quickly see who is an educated person b/c when I mouse over the population in the top bar I see there's at least some educated people but I can't find them to force them to be the teacher ;_;

Yeah, i think this would be helpful in some occasions (healer as well). Had to browse through several buildings to check if I had someone with basic education (I did, in fact).

But it's not the same in Tropico, there's actually tons of filters and breakdowns of every kind of citizen trait in that game.

The easiest way to find an educated worker is to pause the game, take workers away from your more advanced industries, click the add teacher button in the school and then put the workers back into your industries.

The reason the school always has issues finding educated workers is because it pulls from the laborer pool. And when assigning real jobs, educated workers are picked ahead of uneducated workers. So the laborer pool tends to only have uneducated workers.

My start did have a small amount of educated people. If you hover over your population counter in the top left and does it say 0% educated?
