No idea on distance needed or other things
I built a clay mine far from the vilage. I built a Temp shelter and watched. The shelter got stocked, but the mine workers still ran all the way back home to find food and stuff. So i dont know, what im doing wrong.
Maybe by offering a secondary smaller village center as a new central point.
I established a mining village but they also dont use the temporary shelter at all.
I now made a nice and cozy place, even with a pub, their own lumber, some food etc. but people who dont work there went into the houses.
And personally i think it would be cool to be able to create smaller villages connected to the city.
I agree with this. Would something nice to see in the future.
Aha, good to know. Thanks.
The best improvement would be just being able to manually tell villagers where to live. Either that or make them more intelligent regarding choosing house nearer work. As is, the Temp Shelters are a useless waste of resources imo.
