Pick Up dropped Gold
Hi - was raided but stopped it - raider dropped all of my gold in a single spot - but now I can't seem to pick it up - any idea how? I sent a free worker
over to the pile but they did nothing

Eventually once your Laborers feel like picking things up off the ground they will get around to it.

If you have build sites that need clearing or repairs those are going to take precedent over picking things up. The same goes for large harvesting projects. Typically you can get a large labor pool over the winter (by unselecting the farmers from their fields) and then you'll see more people picking up all the items they dropped earlier in the year.

A villager will pick it up eventually.

BRILLIANT. This helped me a ton, thank you!

I'm having a similar problem, in that (for whatever reason) I have a TON of dropped resources lying all over the town and surrounding map area, which would be of great value to have... but so far, the villagers just seem to walk by all of them. There doesn't seem to be a way to command (or even encourage) them to pick them up. Some items will rot, as they won't be put in proper storage (barrels, Root Cellars).

I too, have a pile of logs that won't be picked up. Been sitting there for a few years now. I believe it is a bugged tile/tree because they originally wouldn't build a road at first...then I deleted the road and tried again to which they cut the tree down, built the road, and left the wood. This was going on next to a farm being built at the same time.

It is not a labor issue for me, I have 14 laborers, a population of 36 folks, and plenty of time to grab the wood. It's been years.

Clearly a bug.
