you need to make sure you have the supplies needed and that the builders queue are crazy.
I have never lost a building to repairs. also make sure you have repairing supplies throughout the city. if the builder needs to walk across the entire map to fix a building it aint happening
I had a problem with one barn and almost lost all cows... this is the building I wanted most to prioritize repair !!!
A prioritize button and a nerf on building degradation would be nice. I expect stone houses to be able to stand much longer then wooden houses....
When you press P, look to the top right hand corner. The 2 numbers are the number of builders assigned to a builder "pool" and the actual number running around the city. In my city of 600 ppl, I have about 25-30 builders to run around for building and repairs.
There is a limit to how many hours a person can act in a day.
How far is it from its storage location to where it needs to be repaired?
Is it too far away for the workers to reach?
I want public buildings to be prioritized for repairs.
When theaters and markets are closed, the impact is too great.

There is a new one out?
Version f is the current version live.
No the f is live version now. It is same as opt in version.
They already pushed the playtest to live my friend.
Telling people to do the playtest now is irrelevant advice.
Also, Log and Lumber maintenance could be kind of realistic, perhaps gold too...
But bricks last for centuries, perhaps a very minimal maintenance... and stone... eternal, even fire resistant.
Also limited mined resources shudn´t be so punishable in repair costs, if they are.
-ALL DAMAGE HALVED ( at least)
- Log and Lumber repair ratio/damage, Halved damage in time reduced by 50%
- Bricks reparation (of brick part) reduced by 90%
- Clay reparation part reduceb by 70%
- Iron reparation part reduced by 80%

- Stone reparation part reduced by 100% or 99%
