Using Workcamp doesn't grow trees back?
Using workcamp will deleted all trees in the area?
It says cut mature trees only, but in my game they clear everything in the area.
And I don't see them growing trees back?

At start I only used H tool for cutting trees and trees would always grow back.
Now I see lots of empty areas, cause of Workcamp. Is it bugged?

Nope, it's not meant to replant trees. Best way to keep it going is to only have 1 or 2 workers in a camp maximum so hopefully the supply doesn't run out. It depends on what type of map you're playing of course. Arid and Plains won't have a lot of trees to start with so you may need to plant decorative ones to keep your supply up or buy wood from traders.

Devs are aware and working on a long term solution to come in a future update.

Trees will grow back naturally but it takes a few years for young tree to mature. Change the work radius to a new location when one part of the area exhausts. Mature trees are the 7-10 wood resource btw so it's best to place your workcamps at high tree resource point area. Don't build them too close to each other (unless you're mining large stone deposits), they'll clear the wood resource so fast that there wont be any left in the area for quite a while and get stuck with idle workers. Buildings can be salvaged or move to new locations if you happen to build and develop over tree spawn areas.

It's much better to have 6 work camps with 1 worker then 1 work camp with 6 workers longterm.
Tree regrowth seems to be more map dependent so each map has their own growth rate if that's true.
Spreading the logging around to only take enough from the locale will ensure infinite productivity in certain areas. This way you can simply add workcamps as demand grows.

If you are building far away from defenses, move a hunter cabin nearby to deal with predators

There is a good mod that doubles radius of work circles. Fixes the issue in my mind. Now you can have 4 people, 2 on wood and 2 on stone. Because the size is larger the tree growth rate is near the clearing rate. However the stone doesn't seem to grow back. I guess there is just soil all the way to the earth's core. A quarry is different than a mine, cause I don't know why. The mods that are up there fix a lot of the issues with the game. I use the play resource mod to replace the mines when depleted. Sorry it makes no sense to me to run out of clay. Are you kidding me, the stuff that is like everywhere. It be funny to see like all these ancient civilizations stop using pottery because the earth disappeared.
