Worth a buy?
Thinking of getting this, I love games like going rimworld and going medieval and the guild games. Is this anything like it? I am on the fence about it however I am also very interested.

It's a city builder that plays somewhat like an rts with its dependencies and building tiers along with the basic raid based combat. Graphically its lush and vibrant and has excellent sounds and music. The mechanics are also nicely fleshed out with lots of layers of production and harvesting and the crop mechanic is very well done and nicely mimics real life farming. Watch a few videos from streamers to get a good feel for how to get a good start then you can buy the game and as long as you stop playing before two hours are up you can get a full refund. Just make sure to keep good track of time because you can lose half a day to this game and have it feel like an hour or two.

I would wait for sale or holiday discount. I found it to be a good buy but also have stopped playing it ...(Devs needs time)(refinement).

If you are after a game where you can easily get $1 per hour of game play verse cost of the game, then this is for you. (Think I said this the wrong way around)
There are minor bugs, AI can be a little frustrating at times, but no more so than any other game in the genre.
It looks nice, however you can see performance hits when you get large numbers in population, dependant on your system. Obviously a current gen i9 or AMD equivalent, with enthusiast level current gen GPU, on a fast M.2 SSD will run much better than a 3 or 4 gen older system. So update your drivers and close unnecessary background apps.

I love city builders, and I wanted to love this, but this is a miserable experience for me. Refunding.

I do not recommend the game in its current state. I would wait for a few more major patches. For me, there are still too many bugs in the game (even for an EA) that ruins the fun.

There may be bugs but they are not affecting my game. The newest patch is so good, just need some optimization so the game runs good on maximum speed.

This game is a combination of Dawn of Man and Kingdoms Reborn, two games that i choose from any other games on steam to spend thousabds if hours now im running on 500 hours on this game and still enjoying it more than any other games.

Yes! Its fun and chill game. But the start is struggle. If you enjoy making beautiful town, little trouble solving, micromanagers. Or just afk gaming I recoment. And finding good seed of map makes a lot of enjoying game.

This is a worthwhile game. If you like taking care of your people, this game is for you.

I love watching houses go up in flames, people running around with buckets of water, fussing, putting out fires and running about.

I like how the hunter fights with the bear and then hides in the house, and the bear breaks the beehive in the nearest field and gorges on honey.

I love how in a fierce winter people hide in houses, and warm smoke comes out of the chimneys, and the windows of the houses glow with homeliness.

I admire when a small detachment of warriors from my village destroys a large gang of raiders and a brave hunter with the last of his strength catches up with the last surviving raider and scalps him.

And in the end, I love it when diggers set up a fort on a hill and level the fields under it, and after hard work go to the pub, get drunk on beer and have a dashing brawl.

This is a worthwhile game.

It's pretty good, but frustrates a lot of people apparently.

Worth every penny, however..I have stopped playing for now until a few more updates/patches...seems to bug out a bit with a large population..needs more content as well..

I have well over a hundred hours in..so..very worth the purchase.:steamhappy:

I'd wait for a sale or the first content patch. It's fun, but nothing really new yet.
