This DLC restores the game to its original form. It is intended only for adults who are 18 years of age or older.
It reintroduces all cut sex scenes and dialogues to the Steam version of the game.

These are the instructions for installing the 18+/H-scene patch for the Steam version of Aokana/Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm.

This patch includes the 18+ CGs and H-scenes, as well as adult versions of the CGs that had been censored for the Steam version.

1. Open Steam, right-click on the game and click "Properties"
2. Click the "Local Files" tab at the top
3. Click "Browse Local Files"
4.Copy and paste the "adult.dat" file into the "Aokana_Data" folder
5. Launch the Game!

I do not think you can add the patch to the switch version, only the PC version here on steam has a patch.
When you go to the site for the patch it says on there it is only for the PC steam version

I've been looking at this game for Switch, but I understand it was originally a hentai visual novel, which can be patched if I opt for this Steam version. Things are a bit unclear to me as I read things about the switch version not being censored, as opposed to PS4 version, but I'm guessing the PS4 version is simply even more censored than it already was for the general public.

I hate censorship, but I also assume the sex scenes aren't crucial to the story, and if I were to get this I'd prefer a physical version.

Can someone give me one example of how a scene plays out differently on PS4, Switch, and patched PC?

I have the switch version and it is clearly cut the sex scenes out. For example Your laying Mashiro on your bed and do some talking and then they jump clearly to the aftersecene wher she is cuddling you and saying sempai.

As Sony is far more restrictiv i would asume the peeking scenes would be cut or altered, the bath scenes too, the forced strip scene and maybe the talk about sex ( Mashiro was the most active there

I know its successful since the game version on the home screen says that its the R18 version.

Yet when i get to the H scenes these are all censured out
Im getting the audio though.

Any ideas on whats happening?

Bump. Having the same issues here. Just a flat gray screen with audio.

So just to get the confirmation of you guys. Even if the patch version in game said "R18" it is actually not the adult version and basically still a typical steam censor version?
Because on other games like Yuzusoft's you usually get info on the option menu if there are any scenes or not.
