what does that have to do with anything?
Well, what happens during combat is kinda cannon, after all when do you recruit the druid mafia guy? how does dall join you? during combat. What about the ending heist? or the tutorial? combat IS cannon a lot of the times, due to it telling part of the story (and on't expect every mission in-lore to go perfectly)
It has to do with this:
And I was saying that they don't get shot with bullets, they get shot with magic, which mostly just pushes people around. So no, they don't die even when shot.

Tactical Breach Wizards might have taken a lot of inspiration from that game, since it is basically a mix between Into The Breach and Druidstone. For example:
- The gameplay is similar, with more puzzle style of levels that you can replay
- Enemy health and armor system is similar, also no there are no randomness for damage or hits.
- Druidstone has "undo move" (unlimited usages, but not usable after action), and a rewind for the whole turn (only 1 usage per scenario though)
- Druidstone has emphasis on manipulating character/enemy positioning, pushing the enemies to pits/traps/etc, though not as prevalent as defenestration in TBW
- Druidstone Oiko's teleport-swap is similar to Dall's swap, also many other skills are similar
- Skills are limited times per scenario (same as TBW), and you can get more usages from a few spellbooks per level (same as evidence in TBW)
- Druidstone optional objectives are basically same as confidence goals
- Druidstone gems are basically same as perk points
So if you are looking for more and don't mind the generic fantasy theme, I'd say check it out.
I thought while you wait, you might be interested in a similar game experience, which could fill the void. Or maybe it would help someone else looking for more content. But I guess not.
