how to "group every character" on map

On the map it wants me to sort the characters into "Our Team" and "Liv's Team". There aren't even enough characters to fill all the slots unless you count the street mana. Nothing I do lets me proceed.

You don't need to fill every slot on the teams. More characters get introduced as the story progresses, that's why there's more boxes

At the street mana part your team should be Zan and Jen while Liv's team should be Liv, Bori (pyromancer) and Steve (traffic warlock)

I got it, u have to put Banks , Jan and Zan in the our team and somehow Steve clark and the other 3 bad guys go into the other group to progress although steve clark is not the bad guy

I can't get past it. I can't activate the create string mechanic. I'm ready to give this game thumbs down. This is awful design.

If you're trying to do that for the team filling, you don't do that. The Team headers have dropdowns and you move the cards into the dropdowns that open.

Thanks. I see that the pictures need to be placed before the string mechanic activates... I'm not a fan. Although there's a table top RPG called Noirelandia that does use a corkboard connection map that IS VERY fun. This seems more like a chore.

I didn't find it that hard or confusing. The game is pretty clear about what you need to do and when.

There should be little tags to the sides of connectable parts with labels. You click and drag those tags to the pin of what you're connecting them to.
