Steamdeck crashing

Loving the game but having very frequent crashes on steamdeck, I am on the latest steamdeck update too. I would say the longest I have gone without a crash is 15 minutes. Thankfully the game is quick to load back up but it has been hampering my experience. I wondered if anyone else is having such issues?

13 hours on steam deck lcd, stable channel, settings>system>enable updated fan control OFF, proton 9.0-2, zero crashes.

Yup, i also get this on my Steam Deck OLED. Has happened 5 or 6 times now, both in missions and some other places like perks allocation screen. Seems totally random. Screen goes black, fan goes off, power led goes off. It wont turn back on for a couple of minutes, then when it does the deck does a 'verifying install' check on startup. Not seen this on any other game.

Have either of you tried “enable updated fan control OFF“?

The game doesn't crash on me when I launch it and play it, but putting the deck in sleep mode and coming back to the game a while after will make all deck controls (including the Steam button) unresponsive after a few seconds. A hard reset is then required.

Yep, also expierencing both crashing and unresponsive controls after sleep mode on Steamdeck OLED.
