Bonus objective - "Let a single teammate perform two actions in one turn"

I gave my teammate extra actions, and they did a bunch of stuff on their turn, but I still didn't get this bonus objective completed. What are we supposed to do here, please?

I must be missing something obvious, because I thought I did at least two actions, and probably three, but didn't complete the bonus objective.

Please help an old guy understand this objective.

I think it has to be an ability that specifically costs an action point. For example, Jen's static blast and chain bolt cost 1 Action each (plus 1 mana for chain bolt), but gale grenade doesn't.

Are you sure they are consuming the actions you give them? Abilities such as Jen's gale grenade do not consume any action points and do not count towards those bonus objectives.

Ok, I see. Yeah I was using the gale grenade, and picking up intel and such. I guess none of that counts. I will try again. Thank you both!
