Import PNG Transparent files ?
Hi !

is there any way to import png transparent files in my scene ? (2D, like the moon for example)

But how is the other way around? if i want to save my FS image without a background/sky? Can i do so in the future?

No thats an issue i havnt been able to resolve yet. I have to turn off the skybox to save with transparency, trouble is the skybox lights the ambient. so turning it off yields black shadows

That would still be useful as you can use it as a mask, then save the scene with the skybox, take them both into photoshop and use the mask to extract the actual image from the background.

The easiest way I've found to end up with a transparent background is to either create your own skybox/PNG background for your FS scene or to use one of the solid sky backgrounds, and then remove the background in PS using the Background Eraser tool. Both techniques give satisfying results.
