All of them are limited in time but last quite a bit.
I think it's related to the Necromancer and getting good with him. I thought the quest to fund the first ever undead pet store was an epic troll joke but it actually pays out for several months, so don't pass them up. Even if you're presented with dialogue to go back on it or to bail out, don't..
That, and as others have said, sell junk loot, go after bounties, do odd jobs/quests, win fights.
