Abnormal Game Exit Detected
Exit Steam.
Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\universe at war earth assault\xliveredist.
Run the Games for Windows Live installer from this folder.
Restart Steam and test the issue
If the issue persists, try installing the latest Games for Windows application from this page

Download the latest client here: http://www.xbox.com/en-us/Live/PC/DownloadClient.
Before you do that, uninstall whatever version of Games for Windows Live you have right now.

I'd say it's nothing worth playing arround your game files to try and fix it.
Sega will never have it fixed, at least not the main version.

your not really playing around withe the files... think of it like a driver that you need to install. its easy and fast and it completely fixed my game...

and i tried to reinstall my version of the Games for Windows Live and that didnt help at all. it was like taking a good light bulb and replacing it with another good lightbulb when the entire time the stupid lamp just wasnt plugged in.

Yeah, a lamp that requires you to activate a key for it to work and have an account to use it.

Ontop of the above, I also found I had to run the launcher as administrator
