Win 10 Installation

Soo, It has been a LONG time since I've played, but a wave of notalgia has swept over me, and I'm not trying to get it operational again. I have Win 10, and the disc will not load (It freezes on 'calculating space requirements'). I can understand that an old game isn't compatable, so I dug around online for a solution. One person recomended trying to download the game through Microsoft Live. I installed Windows Marketplace. The problem now is that it will not sign in, even though I've changed my password twice. Any ideas welcome, I'm really wanting to play. If you can solve my installation error, or sign error, that would be fantastic. Or even just tell me what's wrong, that'd still be stellar.

The Marketplace isn't online anymore. If your disc won't install you need to buy a copy for Steam if you don't already own it here. The only reason you need the marketplace is for the first time installation, afterwards it's unneeded as it doesn't really exist.

Even with the marketplace installed i still can't get this to run.

Dunno if it is still relevant, but i also tried to install it.
Gave me the error "This app might not work correctly" "Universe At War features that aren't compatible with this version of Windows."

Clicking "Learn more" downloads windows live, but what got it to work was right clicking the SETUP MSI EXE file and clicking "trouble shoot compatibility". It stopped on Windows XP service pack 3 and launched the installer.

The game is a downloaded ISO and mounted via Daemon Toolz, tested and working.
I own the original CD and it doesn't work, hence i had to download it.

i have no problems getting it installed or run. my problem is that my pointer is trapped in a quarter of the screen so i can not access the menus inside the game. it is likely that your disc is damaged. if anybody knows how to fix the mouse problem i am grateful.

Installed the game from disc today. Take a long time to finish "calculation disk space" after 10-15min finished. Game works fine, but games for windows live is offline so you can only play offline.
