Stuck at Computing Space Requirements

Just bought a retail disc of this game, but when trying to install it doesn't move at Computing Space Requirements. The only thing that I can think of that might be a conflict is that I am running Windows 10 and this is a kind of older game. Has anyone else had this problem?

Nevermind, it worked. I just had to let it sit there for literally about an hour... Stranger, considering my computer is on the higher side of specs. Oh well.

yeah, over 1h, high end pc, and nothing, endless loading

few hours later, i finally succeeded (not by waiting though), i used this:

then i used iobit uninstaller
then i installed the app i wanted and succeeded
