ABI and De-digivolving
I just recently found out about ABI mechanics, and was wondering if it's worth de-digivolving as low as baby (pre-rookie) form to accumulate ABI points fast? I'm aiming for the 80 ABI to digivolve into good mega digimons.

Currently my tactic is - level up champion form to lvl 30 > digi to ultimate > de-digi to baby form, but I was wondering if it would actually be faster to digi/de-digi back and forth between champion and ultimate form?

Note that I'm only in chapter 13, and experience gain is not super fast - 1500 exp per battle at most without the Tactician's USB.

If I remember correctly, it is best to de-digivolve back to baby form and level of Digimon also plays a factor in ABI growth (If you train to max lvl then ony digivolve or de-digivolve, it will provide more ABI)

I am not positive but I dont think your Rank effects the amount of Exp you need to Level, its just based on your current level. So a Baby Lvl 70 needs the same as an Ultimate Lvl 70. I think its better to go into higher Ranks you have not gone into to get better moves.

There is a formula, but Steam keeps blocking the google doc file as "potentially malicious" so I can't post it here.
It goes something like this: Rookie de-digivolve gains you 2 + (level/5) ABI, while Champion gains 3 + (level/5) ABI and so on.

Long story short - you gain more ABI when de-digivolving higher forms. But main ABI gains come from higher levels so really it's much better to do that stuff when you can level up quickly. For example, if you have 3 PlatinumNunemons with 3 USBs each you can get to level 50-60 with just one fight, that's when I farmed that.
