Yeah there is not Dialog Skip in this. Just keep hitting the button and it wont take to long, just annoying to get through sadly.

I believe there is a mod that lets you skip dialogue. Might want to look into it if you keep running into this issue.

yeah saw there was a mod for it but it was just that i forgot to save it as i thought i had to go to a phone to save it as i could not remember when or where i could save

Try setting the battle difficulty to normal? I have it on normal and I don't know whether I'm just raising my Digimon right, good at matching the types, or what, but I'm breezing common enemy and boss fights. Not a problem to me though since I'm way more focused on the story. Also YES...Save early and often with this one! Literally save after every long dialog scene and in each new area in case you run into a hard fight you're not ready for.
