If my main digimons are maxed with Tactical USB, do they still gain bonus xp for my reserves?
Like for example, my lead digimons which are 3 PlatinumNumemons are level 99 with Tactical USBs and my reserved digimons are still not maxed, do my reserves still gain bonus XP from PlatinumNumemon's passive + Tactical USB or do I need to di-digivolve the PlatinumNumemons (or lead digimons at that)?

BONUS question: Do my reserves also get bonus XP if they have Tactical USBs on even though they're not leading?

I been doing a few test on this and this is what i can tell you (my testing is limited cause i'm still in chapter 4 :^), when you fight with a fullteam of platinumsukamons wich are equipped with Tactical USBs your reserve digimons do indeed receive the same amount of exp as your sukamons (maxed or not), not only that you can also equip 2 USB per sukamon for even more exp, Tactical USBs are broken X_X

Plats Passives do work on those in reserve, but everything else I say is not tested, nor have I read anything so its just my guessing based on how these kinds of games usually work.

Tactical USBs should only work on the ones they are equipped too. I also strongly doubt they work unless said Digimon is in Combat. The reason I say this is because the Game only seems to check for Abilities and Items that are in Combat at the time.

I could be wrong though. You could try saving, do a battle with said reserves having on the USBs and write down the Exp. Then load and repeat without them. That would get your answer for sure. Just make sure you fight the same group to make sure the Exp is the same each time.

Thanks for the response! So I guess I'll keep my PlatNumemons at 99 🙂.. and yeah I'd test this myself but I currently too lazy to find an area with consistent group of digimons to check the XP gains.

I really hate that we have to use Plats in Battle to get the Exp Boost because who want to use them. Grinding can be tedious enough without having to use them in battle in order to cut down on said grind. I hope the next game either lets us carry over Abilities so you can just learn it and move one.

I've done some testing myself last night. And YES I agree with you 💯!Tactical USBs as well as PlatNumemons are broken for XP though I hope they keep it that way since preparing for them takes time anyway.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But yeah, here's what I found out:
  1. Tactical USBs only work for your 3 lead digimons (so I placed them on my PlatNumemons or whatever lead I have).
  2. Tactical USBs stack (so your digimons benefit from wearing 2 or 3 USBs each).
  3. Maxed out PlatNumemon's passives + them using Tactical USBs still gains XP for your reserves.
  4. Each group of wild digimons gives the same XP which is probably evenly distributed to your digimons, so you could funnel XP to your reserves if your leads are maxed, or you could transfer some of your digimons to the DigiBank to funnel XP to your team.
CONCLUSION: Using even just 2 PlatinumNumemons + 1 Sweeper Digimon, all wearing several Tactical USBs will get those levels up really fast (will take less than 10 mins to max out your team when fighting 3 champion digimon groups). My goodness. Preparing for this setup is worth it!

Dont worry about them changing it as they dont updated the game anymore, plus it was intended to be abused.

Also thanks for the work, both of you.
