SOLVED - Game crashing in Chp 4

So recently encountered an error where my game kept crashing once I has reached chp 4 in a part with another character. I was trying everything I could to resolve it but was hard core struggling. In the end I believe I have solved the problem and am able to proceed.

To do so, first make sure in your settings for the game on steam (right click then properties) to set it in the general tab to -dx11 on boot for the game.

Next if you are using NVIDIA like myself, then in NVIDIA control panel make sure to go to 3DSettings -> Manage 3D settings -> Program Settings (tab). Once on this tab start up Digimon, then do add, Digimon should now appear as the top application to add. Once added, change the following settings to help with conflict with the games settings: Antialiasing - Gamma Correction -> Off, Monitor Technology -> Fixed Refresh, Preferred refresh rate -> Application controlled, Threaded Optimization -> Off, Vertical Sync -> Use the 3D application setting.

This in full solved my problem and allowed me to proceed. Hope this helps someone and happy gaming!

Adding -dx11 should do literally nothing, the game runs OpenGL and has no DirectX rendering pipeline.

this worked for me, i had to delete and then create another Drs file in order to use the nvidia control panel, but i got it. thanks a lot!
