On your first time at EDEN, you have to talk to the guy who stands in front of the last stairs, where there is a boy running, so you unlock another area and continue the game.
To close, at least on my pc, is the CTRL on the right side.

Ah, you started on the Hacker's Memory, it's a bit different then.
I'm glad your game is working now, but it's strange, i just started a new game with the female protagonist and after I asked almost everone on EDEN entrance, only the guy with Brownish hair at the top floor let me go to the Comunnity area.
Still, sorry for that man, hope you enjoy the game thought.
