1) You can check the hacking skill requirement in Player Profile
2) You can view each Digimon status - there is a label to tell its form - Champion / Ultimate on the bottom left + Memory usage OR you can sort them in Digibank by using Right CTRL
3) When you have the required Digimon in respective forms, make sure bring them in your party to enable the skills to use, then only change to the Digimon you want after using specified skill

Really confused here & the game isn't helping at all. I have no cases & nothing else to do apart from removing this red firewall 3.

Bottom left of the stats screen shows their stage.

I believe the stages go, Baby > in training > rookie > champion > ultimate>mega

Your starter starts as a rookie.

The NPC standing there basically means you're not supposed to be there yet, you've missed a story objective somewhere.

That, I actually can't help much with, as I haven't gotten that far myself, chances are there's an NPC somewhere, off in some corner with an exclamation mark over their heads that you need to talk to. Can look up a walkthrough see if you happened to miss someone.

Did you talk to Mirei at the DigiLab? She gives hints on what to do next in such occassions as there are quite a few points in Cyber Sleuth where it's not really clear on what you have to do next.

Can try the detective lady(no I don't remember her name), but other then that, guess it's time to run through all the social zones looking for the red quest marker

Already done twice. Nothing missed. Don't remember the chapter. I'd have to check.


Chapter 4

Did you talk to the NPC in Shibuya with the exclamation point above her head? You can reach her by taking the left crosswalk. She gives a new case.

There is also a glowing spot at the Eden Entrance that will unlock a new case as well.

Both of those cases must be done before you can advance to the next chapter.

The firewall you are trying to access can't be broken until Chapter 7, because of the NPC blocking the way.

He's tried that already, and Mirei doesn't tell you the location of characters who give new side cases, even side cases necessary to advance the story.

Okay, so you found the cases. Did you make sure to complete them? (The cases should be Red-Pin 5: Scramble Pentagram and Red-Pin 6: Nightmare Eater)

Check the whiteboard to be absolutely certain you finished those cases. If you have finished them, I don't know how to further help you, but you're not getting past the Kowloon 3 Firewall until Chapter 7.

In all honesty, I doubt the game is bugged to that extent, or there'd be constant complaints on here about it, my best suggestion still stands though, go find a walkthrough and read/watch through it up to the point you're stuck, then you'll know what you've missed, and where. Very likely something you'll want to kick yourself for overlooking, I know I've done similar more then a few times.

WHAT CASES HAVE YOU COMPELTED

WRITE OUT THE LIST AND THEN COMPARE TO THE LIST OF QUESTS IN CHAPTER 4
