each digimon has a memory cost and you can only have up to that much in your party
EG, you start the game with 25 memory(?) so you can only have up to digimon that equal that. whatever your current digimon are, adding a new one puts you above the memory cost
it was to see if digimon games could still sell when it first came out, so a dub was risky, it sold the most amount of any digimon game ever - so next order and rearise got dubbed
I think it will be, since its probably not as long as cyber sleuth or hackers memory
something that hints towards this is that survive will has english, german, spanish, french, and italian subtitles in the west like next order did. this game only has english and german
the japanese digimon game producer said in the lead up to next order said he knows how important dubs are and that he was happy they were able to dub next order due to how well cyber sleuth sold - so bandai want to add dubs, they just need the games to sell well enough to justify it. i think next order and then rearise being dubbed shows theyre currently doing well enough for dubs
if survive isnt dubbed thatll be a shame - though that would also mean its super long lol. id take a 100 hour japanese only game over a 10 hour dubbed game.
