Random crash in subway Spoilers!!!

Im in the subway for the first time went down to level 2 and some old dude rocked up now whenever i enter a battle or try to leave the zone i crash i made the mistake of saving over my file whilst in the area and now i cant play. Tried googling but no luck has anyone else had similiar issues? the game basically just goes black and turns off. tried uninstall reinstall checking files. restarts no luck.

im having the same kinda issue! im much later in the game, chapter 14, but in the same area under the same conditions i get the crash. no clue why. any help would be appreciated

i dont know what i did but i started a new file thinking i lost mine. i randomly went back to it after about 20mins and it started working perfectly and i was able to progress.

Same issue here at the same place in Chapter 4, I will try again later and hopefully it will work again.

I had the same! in the 2nd level (Subway station Chapter 4), on every fight or every time I wanted to get out, the game crashed. In order to heal this I used an "Export Disc" which takes you to the 1st level entrance :D then everything was normal again

Has a reliable fix been found for this bug yet? I've tried everything in the couple of posts I've seen for people getting the same thing to no avail

Start/Load a Hacker's Memory savegame, got back to the menu and load your Chapter 4 save. It should work now.

Loading any savegame in another place works, probably.

Also, if anyone wants to upload a savegame that triggers the bug consistently I could try to investigate it's cause.

I've played about 3 hours worth of Hackers memory attempting this fix and it still happens, one thing I note is I saved just after the meeting with the guy. Potentially trapping it in a loop if others had saved outside the 'cursed' room causing the bug.

I can try rip my save file and upload it somewhere for you if you'd like?

I don't know if this helps but i created a new Game left it on for about an hour thinking my save was cooked. The Same game btw not Hacker memory. Then i went back to my save and it worked. Thats all i did to get passed the train station.

My Latest update, i played through and tested after Chapter 4 in Hackers Memory (where you visit the station) and it's now working and let me past "the room of death crashes" thanks all for the help
