Why is Nightmare III recommended for Platinum Numemon when his lvl 99 attack is higher?

And I see a lot of people saying his special is garbage but it's doing better than nightmare is. Best bet so far however has been to have two PlatNumemon with a third digimon for actually killing things.

Googling for this game has been a huge pain in the ♥♥♥.

What you found may have been for the PS4/Vita release of Cyber Sleuth. The Digimon got rebalanced in Hacker's Memory and the Complete Edition, giving PlatinumNumemon a very low base INT stat and thus making Magic attacks a lot weaker.

I was wondering the same too, on occassion with the right type match up itll do better then platinum junk and at half the cost, but mosts PJ does far more damage. Wonder if theres anything better he could have instead for the rebalance.

Because Nightmare III is a better skill to do damage and kill faster than his own skill (♥♥♥♥ throw), at low lvls and sometimes high lvls, but in my case i almost use his skill.

And for max exp boost each battle is always better finish the fight with 3 platnumemon in battle + 3 tactical usb each. You can use a DPS digimon to almost kill everybody and change all to PlatNum and do the last hit for exp
