OP def weak again fixed damage skill
enemy digimon that have high def looks very vulnerable toward fixed damage skill, is this still useful at late game?

Rather than fixed damage i would go for Skills damage that have penetration damage. Because it scales with stats. Also there are more enemies that have huge def like Eaters than others with Def penetration %.
fixed damage is cool, u can take down some digimon with it but i dont think penetration damage is better, i mean as far as i can see apocalymon have 444 fix damage need to hit 4 time to kill platinumsukamon, while belphemon SM with special move can kill it in 1 hit

Strong penetrating attacks can easily hit for >2000 damage. Nothing in fixed damage even comes close, but ultimately it's the same concept either way.

Penetrating attacks are broken, basically if a digimon doesn't have a penetrating move then it's useless.

Rather than useless, are the bosses which are awful health sponges. I'm in the postgame of hacker's memory and I'm now forced to make a full team of pierce digimons because otherwise those bosses will fill a chore.

I definitely don't like this, that's for sure.

As for fixed damage one the only really good late game wise is apocalymon, as it deals 444 fixed damage to all enemy digimons (or 666/777 with chain combo x2/x3).

Mastemon is kind of good for those kinds of bosses. Dealing 25% of the boss' health

The problem though is that it will become lesser and lesser useful as bosses HP depletes, while pierce moves will outperform it. On top of that both type and element weakness are added into it, so t hat's even greater damage.

Mastemon is great at the start of the fight, and chains increase the damage percent. Some bosses (like great challenge examon) simply have so much HP that it's worth using her for the entire fight and you'd have to be stupid not to do it at least a couple times. Usually the first 1-2 hits from Mastemon will outdamage pierce+acceleration boost, then you swap her out.

I know, what I meant is that it's not a permanent solution, but only useful at the start of a fight.

But I wish that things worked differently, so that we shouldn't heavily rely on mastemon or pierce moves.

CTRL + F ignore DEF/INT
Remember kids keep devolving and get acceleration boost for your heavy hitters
Lilithmon after acceleration boost one-two hits most bosses late game
CannonBeemon is earliest and most efficient glass cannon you can get mid game with little grinding

That chart doesn't seem to list the stats/moves for the final forms. So Lilithmon for example is on the list, but not her moves. I know she has penatration for her move, but the list doesn't show that.
