Let's try to give aneurism to the ftard softie sissy snitch, with that said, here we go, friend :

  • About reshade and character skins - work in progress wait like a month or two for a reshade.
  • Save Editor, Digimon Cheat Mods are already a thing, search for Cheat Engine on google.
  • Not as far as I know.

Thing about cheat engine is... that it isn't as easy as... lets say the Farplane editor for FF X. A true editor would be much more user friendly (Also, some people like myself have bad memories about a fake Cheat Engine)
ANYWAYS, i wished there was a Text editor. Even the german translation is questionable, so i would love to try and fix it. Sadly unlike Ahit, the games DEU files are garbage when opened in notepad++.

CE is as easy as it gets. I am a very simple person myself, I don't like complicated things, with a dedicated and real table, it's not rocket science to press a button to activate stuff instantly, it's basically a checkmark for God's sake! lol

I am not saying for the poor soul to download just the CE program and start messing on his own, I am telling him there is an actual table which simplifies things to the point of needing only 1 brain cell to use these things, the table even has some explanations in brackets like this () , he won't be lost, trust me, even a kid can do that, it's THAT simple.

I could link it here, but, the softie snitch will report my comments/posts again, because, yeah, it is modding/cheating and that is against the rules, I am just replying to the user's will, simple as that.

My current plan is to first finish an extraction/repackaging tool for the game files (I already did a proof a concept, so what remains is cleaning it up and making it faster and user friendlier) and then, based on it, tools for the various file and data formats the game uses starting the a text editor.

What's holding me back so far is that I'm still playing the game. :>

I'm trying to look at the game's files to figure out how things like damage are calculated, would that fall under the category of what your proof of concept can already do?

Nope, still didn't have the time to properly implement the .mbe (where the game data is stored) extraction due to other projects taking priority.

But there is most likely no formula to be found here, only base values the game works with. But that stuff can be debugged with CheatEngine as well, probably even easier.

Now some mods I actually could use are the ability to play full screen borderless without a window AND at higher resolutions. Also the ability to turn off the menu music.

Also the ability to move digimon/change equipment in the digilab from any menu.

And in a perfect, amazing world, revamped translations. I don't even speak Japanese and I can tell how bad these are...

I would like the ability to have at least 1080p resolution but fullscreen is not so important for me, I actually prefer windowed since that way I can keep track of time instead of playing like 6 hours straight without noticing lol.

Bro, any progress on your modding tool? Anything people can do to help?

It's a shame this game is not popular enough to spawn a dedicated modding community.
