Is this similar to Digimon World 1?
I remeber playing Digimon World on Playstation when I was younger, is this game similar to it in gameplay?

Not at all, you'd want Digimon World: Next Order for something similar to that. This is a much more standard rpg

It isn't by a longshot. The games have their own core mechanics and it's very good for every player looking for a jrpg that reminds a bit of Pokemon/Persona in a mix. < They have NOTHING to do with the title by the way, Digimon is a legit franchise on its own for years.

That's already good to hear, I have only played Digimon World 3 beside a fighting game I think and it was nice back then, I just hadn't really finished it.

Well how good is the story of the game? I was interessted but didn't had a PS4 and now if I understood it right I get two games for this price yes?

Both like Digimon 3?
I hope you have some really likeable characters amd stuff like that, are the Digimon more personality than in Digimon World 3? Not that it would be a big problem, I'm just curious now since I noticed I haven't had the time to watch a let's play yet.

Well...the game system was born in Digimon Story for Nintendo DS. You need to choose a starter digimon who are: Terriermon, Palmon, and Hagurumon (the choice don't matter, is just for start). After that you can scan digimons (when you enter the battle you scan automatically some % of each digimon, if you scan 100% you can create him to yourserf, if you scan 200% you can create him with higher stats) and make your team like you desire if have enough memory slots (when you progress in the game you get more and more).

Classic turn base RPG with 3 digimons in battle. You can change anytime between the main 3 and reserve ones.

Every digimon have 2, 3 or more digivolution lines, depending on the form (baby I is 2, rookie to champion is 5 or 6) and have some conditions to digivolve.

In the story you are some kind of Cyber Detective, the Cyber Sleuth, and do some quests do solve the cases, and yes, the story is cool.

If you have some doubts just put in youtube "Digimon Cyber Sleuth" and see for yourself how the game works. I approve and liked alot

this is like SMT meets persona meets megaman battle network(the whole moving in cyber world and layout of maps).... It's more of a traditional JRPG style with 3-5 partners (depending on story progression), balancing stat boosts, heals, and punishing the enemy (unless you totally outlevel them ;)), with lots of elements specific to this game regarding how digivolution and ability scores work and things like that.... It's kind of its own thing, but it clearly draws inspiration from the previous games I've mentioned, so if you like those you'd probably enjoy this.

This helps thank you, but I wait for a sale at least I think. Just to many games I could buy at the moment and the next sale is rather close as far as I know.

If something, it is more like Digimon World 2, In my opinion. Though with lots of changes which could be called "upgrades" in some capacity.

But he is answering OP, who I doubt even cares after 3 years. Plus it had already been answered.
