That'll be the main thing you want to do. Stick the Digimon on the Farm with a Leader (and preferably its own personality) favoring the stat you want to boost, and then do training. With no farm equipment and both personalities matching you get +30 stat in a tough training session (30 minutes)
In this game(s), Digimon have personalities that help to increase a specific stat more in favor or help them to be productive in a role. There are at least 6 different personalities and 2 roles in the titles. Here's what they are and how you see them.
HP = Durable
SP = Lively
ATK = Fighter
DEF = Defender
INT = Brainy
SPD = Nimble
Searcher is for investigating stuff, searching and finding cases to solve while also decreasing the time to find these said cases.
Builder is for developing items and just like the Searcher, it decreases the item's time to be made.
Both roles can be helped even more with the corresponding items in the Digi Farm : Sleuth's Secret for Searchers and Developer Know How for Builders.
Do note, some Digimon need to be maxed in ABI and CAM in order to access a digivolution, sometimes it needs both of them to be maxed out. ABI maxes at 200 and CAM at 100 IF I am not mistaken, I'll edit later in case I did something wrong here.
Sometimes in order to speed up things and unlock the digimon you want, you may have to resort to use another digimon just like a user above recommended to you. By the middle/end game reach, you will be able to get specific items to change a Digimon's personality, too, so you're not really missing out on anything. With that said and taken to consideration, remember when you make a Digimon to always, ALWAYS save before materializing it, and check its personality, it should be on its profile when you create it with its stats, right next to ABI and CAM, it should say any of these personalities/roles I've mentioned.
How to increase CAM?
By feeding the Digimon in the digi farm with meat like exciting meat, you will unlock more meat as you progress, and taking it with you in your party, participating in battles.
How to increase ABI?
By evolving and devolving in the DigiLab. The higher the level of the evolution form and then reverting back to the previous form, the higher the ABI will increase.
That is all.
Your first digimon can't become a mega first time because dont have the requeriments. De-digivolve him to champion, lvl up and digivolve again or de-digivolve to baby and lvl up until get higher stats
