I don't really understand the utility of Digimon Farm?
I tried this game at a friend house, but something is annoying me.

If you give a digimon to the farm, you can't use him in map and battle, right?

So, I want to digivolve my Wanyamon into Gaomon, playing with him, then Leomon, playing with him, and finally Bancholeomon. (So typical furry, I know).

But if the digimon must be in the farm in the objective to have good stats for each digivolution, I'll never use it in battle, right?

Or I missed something?

The Digimon Farm is for passive training while your party is full or doing something else other than battles.

While the Farm helps you train specific stats faster, you also gain stats just from leveling up in general, so your party is also improving their stats as well.

The trade off is you tend to get more exp in battles, but can get more out of each level in the digifarm. Both lead to similar results over time.

So the Digifarm really is for helping you unlock specific evolutions when you need to meet stat requirements. Like if your digimon needs 100 def to evolve, it could take a while to get that through natural leveling, while the farm can train it a bit faster without raising other stats as much.

So it's what I'm saying, I leave my Gaomon and others digimons I like in the farm. I can't play with them.
So, for quests and story, I must play with digimons I don't like?

... No? You can swap them out whenever you want. If you want to use them in your party, then why are you leaving them at the Digifarm?

Some evolutions might take longer but you can still get stats from just grinding out levels with your party.

if i am not wrong you can always turn it back for more abi which also means more max lvs and i am pretty sure a percentage fo stats are kept upon evolving so if you levle the previous one more thent he stats ont he next evo are better then before and you also get more max lvs to train inc ase you are in need of stats i have for example a lady devimon she can now have up to 99 levels and i need her to be a 55 at least but i miss int on her biut becaus ei have more then 20 abi that is no prob 20 abi is also standard for the regular megas the somwhat stronger ones require 60-100 and the strongest ones either require somthing special and or alot fo abi like apocalymon having 200 abi requiment if what i read was correct however is aw a vid and i highly recommend gettign a bunch of builders 5 of those item boostign thing for crafting better stuff and you will get of the develop commando possible exp boosting sticks (you can always reset)

Later on you will unlock the ability to buy a treadmil and so on also i have currently 1island whit 4 and 1 island whit 5 farming equipment stuff so you can even divide your island into specific stuff liek int or speed which will require you alot of money tho but yeah dont stress to much about the stats if you cant get to it evolve it into somthign else turn it back bam more abi as you wil need 20 anyway

Just put in your party the digimons you like and have fun. You dont need to put them in the farm, just lvl up, digivolve etc

Stat gains from Farm training are capped based on ABI (total max across all stats = 50+(1/2 ABI). So you don't just leave them on the farm training forever even if you want farm stats.

Throughout the main story, the big purpose for the farm is to "farm" accessories, specifically the EXP boosting ones. You're going to want six minimum, but when I was big into this game and the online PS4 scene, I went the extra mile and got nine.

Once you beat the game and might be looking into online play, farming to increase stats to customize your team is a necessity.
I hate all the messages I get when I leave Digimon in the farm.
