This vs Switch
What's the difference between Steam version and Switch version? In terms of online play?

Not sure about Online play, I would assume it is the same, although I'd highly doubt it is cross-play. Other than that, the PC version is going to play at a higher resolution and, more than likely, more consistent framerate than the Switch version. That being said I bought the Switch version as well, and it doesn't have any noticeable performance issues, yet. I'm not that far into the game tbh.

Switch version is more expensive for some reason.

That is down to regional pricing. The game was the exact same price on Switch and Steam for me (US).

Thenicly you can play the game portable using Steam link.
Althou only at home.

Technically Steam Link is Steam Play Anywhere, it isn't limited to just your local network now. That being said, you need a powerful enough mobile connection to play it if you want to play on your phone, not to mention probably carry a controller of some kind around since the touch controls leave much to be desired.

As far as I am aware there is no difference between the PS4/PC/Switch versions other than graphics settings.

laptop isn't true portability, you can't be walking around and playing Digimon Cyber sleuth like you can with a Switch. i bring my switch everywhere on my belt.

If you care about online go Switch, PC will be full of "master race hackers".
If you only care about solo go either.

I went for the PC Version only cause Switch does not have achievements. Might be some interesting mods too. Like being able to play a certain Digimon that got censored in US.

i guess switch is great for playing in bed and stuff, like everything on switch, other than that its all kinda the same, graphic isnt that good in this game so there isnt that big of a difference

Pretty much. Probably will at least get 1080p on Switch, which isn't bad. Though PC can apparently do 4K and make the game look a bit smoother.

I think you're getting diminishing returns though. Taking a game that was originally very low-res and blowing it up to 4K doesn't do as much as it could if it was a higher-res game natively.

Switch is more comfortable to use wherever you want than a laptop could ever be.

Other than that, Modding could be a possibility but not a guarantee, gonna have to see if people take up interest and what they can actually do with it.
