Since some seasons my wines all are coming with mercaptan.
I can't figure out why. I tried a lot - changing harvest time, chaning fermentation, changing press amount,...
I even bougth the cleaning machine.

But it dosn't help. Each year I am geting the mercaptan.


In realllife Mercaptan is a frequently happening problem, which easily can be solved by treating with chemicals.
Why isn't that possible ingame? Especialy as it seems that you are geting this after several ingame years without having chance to solve it...

i have exatly the same problem, i even bought the "Rinsing-Blowing Module" in the Winery which is kinda expensive with an upkeep of 1000€ per Turn... but still getting that Mercaptan Fault... even after uprooting and replanting i am getting that Fault, dont know what to do :(

well, finaly I accepted it. It seems to lower rating just by +/- 5 points.
I even have sold the rinsing machine...

i think i got it, after replanting everthing i dont get that fault anymore, it seems it happens to Grapevines that are Age 20+

With my new chardonnay I have the same problem.
Meanwhile I am not capable to produce any wine without problems.

I have Barbera & Chardonnay - both each year with an error.
But however, as rest is perfect, still with 90-93 rating...

yeah i got it again too after 2-3 years but not as much as before
