How to get rid of powdery mildew?

It's been literally like 10 ingame years and my vines are still stuck with this. I keep spraying and doing the recovery and nothing is working. Is there a magic trick to this? Am I just dumb?

That happened also once to me.
If you get infected during summer, it disapperas in winter.
BUT you also can get infected after harvest - then it will not disappear any more.

And you would need to replant everything... (costs you a fortune)

There is an option to treat the powdery mildew (When you click the infected land), but somehow, it was grayed out - not selectable. :-( Isn't it a bug?

This need to be treaten before it happens.
When your vinery is infected, you can't do anything.
Well you can wait. When infetcted in summer, it disappears in winter.
When infected after harvest, it never disapperse. (well, just after replanting)

The treatment for mildew is preventative. It says so on screen, and explains in the story mode as well. It also suggests that you may need to uproot vines to get rid of the infection, though for a long time I only saw infections that cleared up on their own.

Maybe it was just a bug then. I -thought- I'd been doing enough preventative treatments, but I was struggling a lot a the beginning so who knows. I was hoping to fix it without uprooting but I guess not. Thanks for the help :)
