Is this a Survival-type game like Leviathan and the Succubus-for-allies game or more of a straight up RPG game?

I have to skip the intro after spending about 2 hours trying to figure out how to sleep I gave up. Tried giving the gem back, tried keeping it, tried talking to everyone, tried interacting with everything in the store room. Tried restarting and rereading everything nothing changed. Tried going through all the menus for some sleep mechanic could not find anything. If this is not a bug yall might want to make whatever it is your trying to do here more clear.

Hi, after giving back the gem, you’ll need to go down into the cabin and talk to those two sailors, then come back up on the deck and go up the stairs on the right, which will then trigger an event.

You can escape after you give birth. There should be a dialogue option for 'Run Away' afterwards. You can sleep in the sparkly area to pass time; including waiting until you're ready to give birth.

The earth orb (north) is gained by following the main quest line.

The water orb (east) requires defeating the goblins, pixies, and tentacles monsters. It's the eastern exit of the goblin camp which then requires a tentacle monster to cross the river. At the end of the dungeon, there's a rest point where you need to birth and then pair bond a pixie to fly up a rope.

The fire orb (south) requires defeating the pixies and orcs. Head southwest from inside the pixie camp with an orc in tow and have the orc throw the rock blocking the way. After following the dungeon, if you exit to the north you'll be on your way to the minotaur camp and a rest point but if you turn and go south east you'll find a path to the fire orb.

The wind orb (west) only requires defeating the giant slugs and is found by heading north in the giant slug camp and crossing through the pale blue water (which will sap stamina unless you have a partner which can nuzzle you).

One of the gems is found by heading towards the slug camp from the demonic beast camp with a demonic beast in tow.

Another gem is found by using a strong monster (orc or minotaur) to move a boulder in the central-ish forest.

Another gem is found using a pixie to fly up a cliff in the eastern desert near the orcs.

I haven't found the presumably last gem.

An engagement ring is found in the southeast corner of the camp near the minotaurs if you have a strong monster to move the boulder out of the way.
