Main Switch On and Off is distributed to two different keys, "H" (On) and "N"(Off). All keys are referenced in the printout of that dialog. To find the dialog, read the manual.
It still doesn't help when you think you have turned it back on and nothing seems to have happened. When i press the button for on the two lights that were lit in white and the far left do not change back to white, they stay orange/red.
For instance why is the whole console display flashing and buzzing? I didn't see that in the manual. What do the individual lights mean, like the B or the Ü?
About the manual, there's a really big complete manual in german and a shorter version in english for this version
Here is an Tutorial.

Especiallly the speed handling with the PZB has rigid rules
If not correct handled the train will stop :)
Its a pity that the train and surrounding, graphical cannot be more realistic at the moment
You can use a external database online and Zusi display for the time shedules on the cabine
Beware that some german people there (especially developers ) are not very friendly, but most are, because its their brainchild
It was impossible for me to get information from them about what traintypes there are
They use abbrevations for that BR ( baureihe) example freightrain BR 189
Freighttrains business is something different ( their infrastructure )then passenger trains
There is also a streckenkarte (online) what shows the routes and under construction routes
When you choose a traintable and start use F4 ( time leap ) to go fast forward and this bring you to the train ( the train can be running or not )
The simulation has to run and then time leap to the starting point of the traindriving.
What traintable should be nice to start with ?
You could start for instance in a mainstation, or smaller station and on the free bahn i thought so.?
You ar faced right away with the PZB system and the SIFA( audio signal: use backspace) and signs :)
The demo should be a good starting point to get a hang of the simulation, but use also a old sign system and also newer ?: i don't know anymore.
So if you want to drive a freighttrain BR 189 ..i loaded a traintable : kooeln-duesseldorf 2018_8_11 uhr without searching for a traintype, but i get passengrrs train ( fernverkehr in German)
So i start with this scenario in Koln hbf (hbf is hauptbahnhof = mainstation) in ICE train
So when i start with a passngertrain ICE in Koln is in PZB O state
I am standing now with a ICE train in Mainstation( HBf (hauptbahnhof=mainstation)Koln
If the sign a the station is green then brake off and throttle increase
There is a ranking system if you follow the traintable : challence
The speed is max 40 km /h leaving this manistation station, but its a tricky departure there , i remember me with signstate there ?
A mainsign gives the information direct for a track and also for the next to coming mainsign under the current mainsign infront of you.
If it is yellow lamps under the mainsign green, it means that the next coming mainsign is red, so pay attention to this.
- i installed Zusi display ( for traintable viewing in train cabine)
- i installed a search editor for traintables , downloaded form Zusi webasite: with this clicking on a traintable makes that Zusi is starting.
Was not 100 % working on Windows 10 pro at that time and maybe it is updated now?
- there is a online traintable editor
- there is a online railroad map for oversight of the all train tracks and coming ones
So you can excactly see where you can drive in Germany a train
- there is more software to get...
Unfortenaly the guide is not giving enough informed about the online database and offline database to use for choosing traintypes and routes + using zusi display
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JZZImlSFOo
Here is the online database : http://www.zusidatenbank.de/
The traintypes are given here with abbrevations : i ask to give the full names for it, but they seems to be not willing to do this
So if are for instance interested in driving freighttrains : tickmark only freighttrain and then search ..with this some abbrevations can be connected to a freighttrain
-Dg ( durchgang ? ) :a freightrain with no permanent traintable ?
-Dsts
-Dgs
-Dstg
-Dk
-Dlt
-Dpe
-Dpf
-Dlr
-? more
So focussing alone on theGerman freightrain system is fun to find out how it is organized there in germany
If there people who can tell me more about this?
What are the freightraintypes : BR193 ( probably the most modern one? )
The German railway sytem is in transition of more safe signalling system and Zusi has some freighttrains cabins equipped with this new signalling system
Very different then the current signalling sytem with PZB and some freightrains are equipped with two signallingsytems in their cabin( the old PZB en the more modernr one ( forget the name if it: ETCS )
I have this expereinced this myself as passenger on a real freightrain from Holland driving along the Rhine bank in Germany
here a example in Zusi a ICE train(passengertrain) with ETCS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45tsQAB0ydk
Driving with this ETCS is totally different then with the old PZB
Its a challence to drive a freightrain with the PZB system.
I hope that as beginner you get a impression what can be involved by traindriving in Zusi
Note
It was also fun with the solo BR193 loc in Zusi to give full throttle ..
