Parry Enemies Challenge when equipped with Crystal Barrier?

So far, all the challenges I've come across have been doable (if tough at times,) EXCEPT this situation. Since you can't block or parry with this shield, you'd just risk losing health/dying without even having the OPTION of getting a reward. Would there be any way to change it so that challenge can't spawn if you have this shield or it negating attacks counted?

You're right of course but it's one item you're missing out on, if such a challenge room even spawns on your run. Considering that i destroy well over 75% of all drops in a given run it doesn't seem like a big deal. Besides, there are plenty of shields that are much better. I pretty much only used it to complete mastery. Once that was done, i haven't used it since
