I'm currently upgrading which version of Unreal Engine we're using which hopefully reduces some of these issues.
That's a shame. Do you happen to have the game on an HDD? I think there might be a blocking load issue I still need to track down and if that's the case, temporarily moving the game to an SSD will alleviate the stuttering.
EDIT: Also, if you could share your hardware specs with me that would help me track down the issue.
Second EDIT: If you have an AMD processor it might be related to audio. There are people reporting similar issues and posting workarounds here: https://mordhau.com/forum/topic/14637/stuttering-and-freezing-issues/?page=4 .. might be worth trying them.
Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB 10.0.14393.3930 (Win10 RS1 [1607] Anniversary Update)
DirectX 12.0
QuadCore Intel Core i5-2310, 3100 MHz (31 x 100)
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN)
Intel Panther Point Z77, Intel Sandy Bridge
16264 МB (DDR3 SDRAM)
Intel HD Graphics 2000
nVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
WDC WD2003FYYS-02W0B0 (2 ТB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II)
ST1000DM003-9YN162 (1 ТB, 7200 RPM, SATA-III)
So just to confirm - both drives you have are HDDs and not SSDs?
One thing that might be worth trying yourself is making sure you don't have anything running in the background that could be competing for disk reads/writes. In particular, there might be some antivirus software that's constantly "double checking" every time Dreamscaper tries to load in an asset which could cause be exacerbating the hitches.
Also, this is probably not the case, but it's worth mentioning that I've found if I have Netflix on Chrome up on one window while playing Dreamscaper on another, I experience stuttering myself.
